Two fabrics, one considered composition. This embroidered open abaya is constructed in a smooth, lustrous satin with a firm, graceful drape and a quietly luminous finish — the main body cut from rich, light-catching satin, with the front placket edges and sleeve cuffs finished in a double layer of soft, semi-sheer fabric that falls in a gentle, fluid border against the structured satin beneath. The deliberate contrast between the two — the weight and sheen of the satin against the delicate, airy drape of the sheer trim — is refined and considered. A fine white embroidered line runs along the inner edge of each placket trim, adding a precise detail at the opening.
The defining embellishment is a cascading arrangement of multicolour floral and botanical embroidery worked across the upper body — covering the shoulder, chest and upper sleeve in a flowing, diagonal composition that reads like a garden in full bloom.
