Da dieses Jahr sich dem Ende zuneigt, wollte ich dir schreiben — nicht als Marke, sondern als Mensch, der diesen Weg geht.
Mariam’s Collection ist nun seit drei Jahren auf diesem Weg. Und ehrlich gesagt, diese Jahre — besonders 2025 — waren nicht leicht.
Es gab Momente des Wachstums und Momente der Ungewissheit. Momente der Hoffnung und Momente der Angst. Mehr als einmal stand das Unternehmen an einem Punkt, an dem ein Weitergehen nicht mehr selbstverständlich schien.
Doch durch die Gnade Allahs sind wir immer noch hier.
Ich erinnere mich oft daran, was Allah uns lehrt — dass Er diejenigen liebt, die in ihren Bemühungen beständig bleiben.
🌙 Nicht perfekt.
🌙 Nicht makellos.
🌙 Aber aufrichtig, geduldig und beständig.
Diese Erinnerung hat mich durch viele schwere Tage getragen.
Bevor Mariam’s Collection überhaupt existierte, gab es einen sehr persönlichen Grund dahinter.
Wenn ich innehalte und zurückblicke, kehren bestimmte Erinnerungen klar zurück — Momente, in denen ich verurteilt, ausgeschlossen oder anders behandelt wurde, nur weil ich Hijab trug.
Wegen des Hijabs wurde ich anders behandelt. Wegen des Hijabs blieben mir manche Möglichkeiten verschlossen. Wegen des Hijabs wurde ich als „weniger modern“, „weniger fähig“ oder sogar als Symbol für Armut oder Rückständigkeit angesehen.
Diese Erfahrungen sind mit der Zeit nicht verblasst. Sie sind bei mir geblieben.
Und sie haben still den Weg geformt, den ich eines Tages einschlagen wollte.
