I own this kimono in three colors (green, grey, black), and I really love it. I owned the grey one for over a year before I ever wore it, thinking it wouldn't be flattering or whatever. I wore it one day and became determined to have more of these. If you're someone who often feels confined by the requirements of modest clothing, this is the abaya for you! I drive an SUV and I'm often at indoor or outdoor playgrounds, so I climb in and out of things often (stepping up into the car, climbing a giant slide, merry-go-rounds, etc., etc.) and this kimono is cut perfectly for being active and not finding yourself constantly TRIPPING over you clothing. It is so FREEING to just be able to walk and step and climb! It's the cut that does it. And it's so lightweight and breathable. I wear active clothing underneath (think monochrome--i usually wear black under these--like [not skin tight] yoga pants and a PFG-style top (these are ultra-light fabric and they wick sweat, so you stay comfortable) with a hijab that matches the clothing under the kimono, so the look is very put together, but you're FREEEEE! 😂 Alhamdulillah. Highly recommended. I wish they made these in more colors.
