I love these, they're perfect for the summer when you need extra coverage on your arms, but it's too hot to wear a full shirt underneath your abaya/jilbab! I always have a problem with abayas sleeves (no matter if they're open or elastic) falling down my wrists and showing my arms, so these help keep my awrah covered! The thumb holes help keep me assured that they're not going anyway and that they aren't going to fall down my arms. One small thing is that threads do start to come off/out around the thumb hole pretty quickly. I'm not taking a star off the review for that reason though because I have bought these half sleeves/handsocks from other brands and they also did the same thing, so it's probably just because they're a more delicate material!
